score of Suresh is 140 more than the difference between Arjun and Tarun. If Suresh scored 275 marks, what are Arjun’s marks?Solution
ATQ,
Let the marks obtained by Tarun be ‘x’.
So, marks obtained by Arjun = 1.45x
According to question,
(1.45x – x) + 140 = 275
0.45x = 275 – 140
0.45x = 135
x = 135 / 0.45
x = 300
Therefore, marks obtained by Arjun = 1.45 × 300 = 435 marks
