Question
A student named Pooja secured 42% and failed by 15 marks,
while her classmate Ramesh scored 54% and got 21 marks more than required. What is the passing mark?Solution
ATQ,
Assume total marks = 100x
Pooja's marks = 0.42 × 100x = 42x
Passing marks = 42x + 15
Ramesh’s marks = 0.54 × 100x = 54x
Passing marks = 54x - 21
So, 42x + 15 = 54x - 21
⇒ 12x = 36
⇒ x = 3
Passing marks = 42x + 15 = 42 × 3 + 15 = 126 + 15 = 141
What will come in the place of question mark (?) in the given expression?
(30 × 5 + 20) × 2 = ?
(√ 1444 ÷ 5) × 3.25 = ?
342 – 232 + 256 – 104 = ?
12.5% of (100 + ?) = 40
1120 / √x = 80 Then x = ?
[∛(3375/19683 )- ∛(125/1728 ) ] ÷ ∛(64/729) = ? - 3/8
7, 8, 12, 21, 37, ?
(22 × 52 ) + 4 × 6 = ? - √324
What will come in the place of question mark (?) in the given expression?
(96 - 59) X 6 + ?2 = 136.5 X 4
