    Let the salary be 100%. Salary spend on rent = x% Salary spend on EMI = (x + 10)% {100 – (x + x + 10)}% × 36% ATQ: 36% + (2x + 10) × 64/100 = 68% (2x + 10) × 64/100 = 32 2x + 10 = 50 x = 40/2 = 20
