B Rs. 23000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Rs. 25500 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Rs. 29900 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    Let the income of the man be Rs. x Therefore, sum donated to NGO β€˜A’ = Rs. 0.9x Sum left with NGO β€˜A’ = 0.25 Γ— 0.9x = Rs. 0.0225x Sum donated to NGO β€˜B’ = Rs. 0.20x Sum left with NGO β€˜B’ = 0.2 Γ— 0.20x = Rs. 0.04x Sum donated to NGO β€˜C’ = Rs. 0.22x Sum left with NGO β€˜C’ = 0.5 Γ— 0.22x = Rs. 0.11x According to the question, 0.0225x + 0.04x + 0.11x = 3450 Or, 0.1725x = 3450 Or, x = 3450/0.1725 = 20000 Therefore, income of man = Rs. 20000
