Let the income of the man be Rs. x Therefore, sum donated to NGO βAβ = Rs. 0.15x Sum left with NGO βAβ = 0.25 Γ 0.15x = Rs. 0.0375x Sum donated to NGO βBβ = Rs. 0.20x Sum left with NGO βBβ = 0.2 Γ 0.20x = Rs. 0.04x Sum donated to NGO βCβ = Rs. 0.23x Sum left with NGO βCβ = 0.5 Γ 0.23x = Rs. 0.115x According to the question, 0.0375x + 0.04x + 0.115x = 3850 Or, 0.1925x = 3850 Or, x = 3850/0.1925 = 20000 Therefore, income of man = Rs. 20000
