    According to the question,
    (6000 × 12) : {5000 × (12 – x)} = (12000 – 4000) / 4000
    Or, 72000 : {5000(12 – x)} = 8000 / 4000
    Or, 72000 : {5000(12 – x)} = 2 : 1
    So, 72000 × 1 = 2 × 5000(12 – x)
    72000 = 10000(12 – x)
    72000 = 120000 – 10000x
    10000x = 120000 – 72000
    10000x = 48000
    x = 4.8 months
