      Then, P’s investment = Rs. ‘1.36x’, Q’s investment = Rs. ‘1.54x’

      Profit sharing ratio of P : Q : R = 1.36x : 1.54x : x = 34 : 38.5 : 25

      To eliminate decimals, multiply all terms by 2:

      Ratio = 68 : 77 : 50

      Q’s share = (77 / (68 + 77 + 50)) × 42000 = (77 / 195) × 42000 = Rs. 16523.08 ≈ Rs. 16523
