    She selected a shirt, which is marked Rs.200 higher price than the money she had. But shopkeeper gave two successive discounts of 15% and 20% respectively on the marked price of the shirt. Then she could buy that shirt and also another shirt worth Rs. 320 with all the money she had. Then what is the marked price on the first shirt?

    Let the money she had Rs. x MP of a shirt = x + 200 According to the question, (x + 200) * 85/100 * 80/100 + 320 = x 0.68x + 136 + 320 = x x – 0.68x = 456 0.32x = 456 x = 1425 MP = 1425 + 200 = Rs. 1625
