    Total promoted employee from PNB & BOB together = [(680 + 840) × (60/100)] + [(480 + 720) × (50/100)] => 912 + 600 = 1512 Average number of male employees from SBI & BOB = (800 + 480)/2 = 640 Required difference = 1512 – 640 = 872
