      Percent profit earned by Company X in 2008 = 20% ∴ 20% of Expenditure = 312 ⇒ Expenditure = (312×100)/20= 1,560 Percent profit earned by Company X in 2010 = 15% ∴ 15% of Expenditure = 225 ⇒ Expenditure = (225×100)/15= 1,500 ∴ Total Expenditure = 1,560 + 1,500 = Rs. 3,060 Lakh
