E If the data in both statements I and II together are necessary to answer the question Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

Solution

From statement (i), S = M + 44,000 and R = M – 16,000 From the above we cannot get the answer. But with the help of above and statement (ii), M + 44,000 + M – 16,000 = 1,92,000 2M + 28,000 = 1,92,000 M = 82,000 Rohan’s salary = M – 16,000 = 82,000 – 16,000 = Rs.66,000 Hence, with the help of both the statement we can get the answer.
