    What is the area of the Room? Statement I: Total

    cost of flooring the tiles in room is Rs. 43500. Statement II: Labour cost of flooring the room is Rs. 9000. Statement III: Material cost of flooring per sq. metre is Rs. 450.

    Solution

    Let the area of the room be xm² Then, total material cost= Rs. 450x Labour cost = Rs. 9000 Therefore, Total cost = 450x + 9000 = 43500 From this we get the value of x. Hence, all the three statements are required.
