From statement I, Observer = Assistant + Rs. 16,000 .....(i) From statement II, Observer + Assistant = Rs. 42,000 ....(ii) From statement III, Manager + Observer = Rs. 76,000 .....(iii) We can find the salary of an assistant from equations (i) and (ii) only.
