    Let speed of stream = 'x' km/h Then speed of boat in still water = 5x km/h ATP, (360/6x) + (240/4x) = 24 (60/x) + (60/x) = 24 {(60 + 60) /x} = 24 (120/x) = 24 x = 5 therefore, downstream speed of the boat = 6x = 6 X 5 = 30 km/h
