Question
The average value of the property of Priya, Aanya and
Raghav is Rs. 102 lacs. The value of the property of Priya is Rs. 48 lacs less than that of Aanya, and Rs. 24 lacs less than that of Raghav. Find the value of the property of Raghav.Solution
Total value of the property of Priya, Aanya and Raghav = 102 Γ 3 = Rs. 306 lacs
Let the value of the property of Aanya = Rs. x lacs
The value of the property of Priya = Rs. (x β 48) lacs
The value of the property of Raghav = Rs. (x β 48 + 24) lacs
x + x β 48 + x β 24 = 306
3x β 72 = 306
3x = 306 + 72
3x = 378
x = Rs. 126 lacs
The value of the property of Raghav = 126 β 24 = Rs. 102 lacs
