The sum of the weight of 4 persons = 36 × 4 = 144 kg Let the weight of the lightest person = ‘x’ kg The weight of the heaviest person = (x + 26) kg The sum of the weight of the remaining two persons = 22 × 2 = 44 kg According to the question, x + x + 26 + 44 = 144 2x = 74 x = 37 The weight of the heaviest person = 37 + 26 = 63 kg
