Let the number of mango trees and the lichi trees in the orchard be 9x and 10x respectively. According to the question, Number of apple trees in the orchard = 9x + 0.5 × 9x = 13.5x Therefore, 9x + 10x + 13.5x = 130 Or, 32.5x = 130 Or, x = 4 Number of lichi trees in the orchard = 10x = 40
