    We have, (1y - 4) + (3y - 4) = 48

    So, 4y = 48 + 8 = 56

    So, y = 56 ÷ 4 = 14

    So, difference between ages of Veer and Raj = 3y - 1y = 2y = 2 × 14 = 28 years
