Sum of present ages of Neha and her uncle = 40 Ă— 2 = 80 years

Then, present age of her uncle = (80 - x) years
According to the question,
(x + 5) Ă— 4 = (80 - x)
⇒ 4x + 20 = 80 - x
⇒ 5x = 60
⇒ x = 60 / 5 = 12
So, present age of Neha's uncle = 80 - 12 = 68 years
