    The ratio of present ages of Aman to that of Dinesh is 2:3

    while the ratio of present ages of Rohan to that of Dinesh is 5:3. If the age of Rohan, 4 years ago from now was 20 years, then find the sum of present ages of Aman and Dinesh.

    ATQ,

    Let the present age of Aman and Dinesh be '2x' years and '3x' years, respectively.

    So, present age of Rohan = 5/3 × 3x = 5x years

    Rohan's present age = (20 + 4) = 24 years.

    So, 5x = 24

    Or, x = 24/5

    Required sum = (2x + 3x) = (5x) = (5 × 24/5 ) = 24 years
