      Three years from now, the combined age of Aman and Bittu

      will be 42 years. Eight years ago, Aman was six years younger than Bittu. What will be Bittu’s age four years from now?

      ATQ,

      Let the present ages of 'Aman' and 'Bittu' be 'p' and 'q' years respectively.

      So, p + 3 + q + 3 = 42

      Or, p + q = 36 --------- (I)

      And, p - 8 = q - 8 - 6

      Or, 'p' = q - 6 ---------- (II)

      From equation I and II,

      We get, q - 6 + q = 36

      Or, 2q = 42

      Or, 'q' = 21

      Therefore, required age of 'Bittu' = 21 + 4 = 25 years
