Present age of Chintu = 33 × 2 – (5x + 12) = (54 – 5x) years ATQ, (54 – 5x)/(4x + 12) = 2/3 Or, 162 – 15x = 8x + 24 Or, 23x = 138 Or, x = 6 So, present age of Bheema = 5 × 6 + 12 = 42 years Present age of Chintu = 54 – 5 × 6 = 24 years Desired ratio = 42:24 = 7:4
