    Total age of 7 friends = 7×24 = 168 years Total age of 9 friends = 9×26 = 234 years Total age of 2 new friends = 234-168 = 66 years Let the ages of first friends = 5x Then, the ages of second friends = 6x 5x+6x = 66 11x = 66 x = 6 the ages of two new friends = 30 and 36 years.
