    Let Komal’s present age be x years. After 6 years, her age will be = x + 6 4 years back, her age was = x - 4 Now according to question, => x + 6 = 3(x – 4) – 2 => x + 6 = 3x – 12 – 2 => x + 6 = 3x – 14 => x = 10 years
