    Let the age of A when he was married be x years. Present age of A = 9x/5 Present age of his brother = (1/2) × (9x/5) = 9x/10 According to Question, => x + 40 = 9/5x => 4/5x = 40 => x = 50 years Present age of his brother = (9/10) × 50 = 45 years
