    Let the age of A when he was married be x years. Present age of A = 7x/4 Present age of his brother = (1/2)×(7x/4) = 7x/8 According to Question, => x + 18 = 7/4x => 3/4x = 18 => x = 24 years Present age of his brother = (7/8) ×24 = 21 years
