Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, who currently serves as the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), was appointed as the new Chairman of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) during a virtual Annual General Meeting. He succeeded Shammi Silva, who was the head of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC). Naqvi will hold this position for a two-year term. Under his leadership, the ACC is expected to focus on strengthening cricket governance across Asia, with particular attention to the upcoming Asia Cup and various developmental initiatives throughout the region.
