Saudi Arabia to Host First Olympic Esports Games 2027 The International Olympic Committee (IOC) launched the Olympic Esports Games in July 2023. Saudi Arabia has been selected as the host country for the inaugural event in 2027. The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) is the Founding Partner of the event. The IOC and the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee (SOPC) formed a joint committee to oversee the games.
