    annum for 10 years. Vishal invested the same amount in SI at 5% rate of interest per annum for 6 years and the difference between the interest obtained by Ajay and Vishal is Rs.1500. Find the amount invested by Vishal.

    Solution

    According to question, => (a × 8 × 10)/100 – (a × 5 × 6)/100 = 1500 => 80a/100 – 30a/100 = 1500 => 50a/100 = 1500 => a = Rs.3000
