According to RBI corporate performance data, what was the net profit of private non-financial companies in Q3 FY26?

Data compiled by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) from more than 3,100 private non-financial companies showed that net profit increased to ₹1.8 lakh crore in the third quarter of FY26. In the same quarter of the previous year (Q3 FY25), profits were ₹1.65 lakh crore, indicating a 5.2% year-on-year growth. This rise reflects improved corporate earnings during the quarter despite rising input costs in several sectors.
