The MoU was signed in Thimphu, reaffirming the two countries partnership in food security, sustainable farming, rural prosperity, and agricultural innovation. It sets priority cooperation in agricultural research, livestock health, post-harvest management, value chain development, and knowledge exchange, and creates a Joint Technical Working Group JTWG with agreed Terms of Reference to implement the MoU. Both sides also agreed that the next JTWG meeting will be held in India at a convenient date.
