    From I, 4,25,000 = salary of 10 officers + (5 × 15000) Hence, average salary of 10 officers can be found out. From II, 15,000= 42/100 × average salary of 10 officers Hence, average salary of 10 officers can be found out. Therefore, either statement I or statement II is sufficient to answer the question.
