SSC Selection Post (Phase 11) Exam Pattern 2024

SSC Selection Post 2024 written exam will be a Computer Based Test. It is very important to understand the SSC Selection Post exam pattern before starting the preparation because it helps you to create your strategy according to the exam and also gives you an idea about the subjects that are involved in it. The SSC Selection Post Phase 11 Exam Pattern consists of four subjects/sections as mentioned below. The exam pattern can be deduced from the table below.

 The SSC Selection Post exam is held in the following phases:

  • Written examination (Objective type Computer Based Test)
  • Document verification
  • Skill Test (where ever needed)

After qualifying written examination you will be called for Document Verification based on the vacancies available. The selection will be based on:

  • In the ratio of 1:30 for up to 5 vacancies available for the post
  • In the ratio of 1:15 for more than 5 vacancies for any category of posts subject to a minimum 150.

You need to appear only once in the SSC exam for one level of post, otherwise, your candidature will be cancelled. If you have applied for two levels of posts e. g.  Matriculation and Higher Secondary (10+2), you need to appear once for each level of examination. You need to score a minimum cut off of  30% if you belong to General Category and 25% if OBC/ EWS. For other categories, you need to score 20% as a minimum cutoff.

Language Proficiency Test 

You should be able to have proficiency in your local language. This is very important as this has been mentioned in the SSC Selection Post official notification.

Exam Language 

SSC Selection Post exam is bilingual in nature which means the question paper will be available in both English and Hindi except the section in the English Language. 

Answer Keys Scrutiny

Tentative answer keys will be released a few days after the commencement of the exam. Candidates may go through the Answer Keys and submit representations. For each questions, you have make a payment of Rs 100/- within the time limit given by the Commission through on-line mode only.
