Interview
The BOI Credit Officer Selection Process 2026 consists of an Online Examination followed by a Personal Interview. Candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in the online examination and rank sufficiently high in the merit list will be shortlisted for the interview. The interview carries 100 marks, with the minimum qualifying marks set at 50% for General/EWS candidates and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates. The final merit list is prepared by giving 70% weightage to the Online Examination (Professional Knowledge section) and 30% weightage to the Personal Interview.
Final Selection
The final selection for the BOI Credit Officer post will be based on the combined performance of candidates in the Online Examination and the Personal Interview, with a 70:30 weightage respectively. Only the marks obtained in the Professional Knowledge section of the Online Examination will be considered for preparing the final merit list, as the English Language test is qualifying in nature. In case two or more candidates secure the same final score, the candidate with higher marks in the Online Examination will be ranked higher. If the tie still persists, the older candidate (based on Date of Birth) will be given preference in the final merit list.
