The BOI Credit Officer selection process 2022 is as follows:
- Online Written examination and /or
- Personal Interview and/or GD

BOI Credit Officer selection process 2022 includes an online written examination followed by a Group Discussion and/or personal interview. If you pass the online written exam of a Bank of India Credit Officer, you will be called for an interview in the ratio of 3:1. The total marks allotted for the Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks is 40% if you belong to the general/unreserved category and 35% if you belong to SC/ST/OBC/PWD. You need to produce valid prescribed documents that will be mentioned in the call letter while appearing for the Bank of India Credit Officer Interview. If you fail to produce the relevant eligibility documents you will not be allowed to appear for the interview. No documents should be sent directly to the Bank before or after the interview.
The BOI Credit Officer selection procedure can take place in three ways as discussed below-
- If Online exam + Interview - The BOI Credit Officer exam and Interview will have a weightage of 80:20. The final merit will be prepared on the basis of online exam score and Interview. The merit list will be in descending order for the respective categories.
- If GD + Interview - In such case, the GD will be of 30 marks. The minimum marks to be secured by the general category in GD is 40% and 35% for the reserved category. Group Discussion will be of qualifying nature and only those candidates who secured minimum qualifying marks in GD will be called for Interview.
Note: If the marks obtained by two candidates in the online exam are equal or an online examination is not conducted, the merit will be on the basis of Date of Birth i.e. Candidate senior in age will be placed higher in the merit list.
There is a penalty for every wrong answer marked by you in the Bank of India Credit Officer 2022 exam. For each wrong question, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. If the question is left blank, i.e. no answer marked by you, then there will be no penalty for that question. Further details on the BOI Credit Officer marking scheme is mentioned below.

Except for the test of English Language, other sections in the BOI Credit Officer exam 2022 will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi.
Note: Qualifying marks pertain to General/EWS candidates. If you belong to the reserved category, you will be entitled to a relaxation of 5% marks in relation to that stipulated for General/EWS candidates.
