followed by two conclusions I and II. You have to take the three given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the three statements disregarding commonly known facts. Statements: Some Tears are Eyes. Only Eyes are Paper. Some Eyes are not Ear. Conclusion: I. Some Paper are Tears. II. Some Ear can be Tears.ÂSolution
Only Eyes are Paper → All Paper are Eyes and Paper cannot have any positive relation with anyone. Hence conclusion I does not follow. Some Tears are Eyes (I) + Some Eyes are not Ear (O) → Probable conclusion → Some Ear can be Tears (I). Hence conclusion II follows.
