In each of the questions below are given some statements followed by some Conclusions. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts. Statements:

All Earth are Sun.

All Sun are Galaxy.

Conclusions:

Solution

Alternative Method: Some Planet are Earth (I) + All Earth are Sun (A) → Some Planet are Sun (I) → Conversion → Some Sun are Planet (I). Hence conclusion I follows but conclusion III does not follow. Some Planet are Sun (I) + All Sun are Galaxy (A) → Some Planet are Galaxy (I) → Probable conclusion → All Galaxy may be Planet (A). Hence conclusion II follows.
