      Only a few Stations are Hospital. All Station are Police. All Police are Apartment. Conclusions: I. Some Apartment are not School. II. Some Stations are not Hospital. III. All Apartment can be School. In the question below are given four statements followed by three conclusions numbered I, II and III. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts. Read all the conclusions and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts.

      Solution

      Some School are Station (I) + Some Stations are Hospital (I) → No conclusion. Hence conclusion I does not follow. Only a few Stations are Hospital → Some Stations are Hospital (I) and Some Stations are not Hospital (O). Hence conclusion II follows. Some School are Station (I) + All Station are Police (A) → Some School are Police (I) + All Police are Apartment (A)  →  Some School are Apartment (I) → Probable conclusion →  All Apartment can be School (A). Hence conclusion III follows.
