Statements:  All covers are glasses.

Some caps are covers.

No cup is a cap.

Conclusions:       I. Some cups are not covers.

A Only II and III follow Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B Only I follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Only III follows Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D All I, II and III follow Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

Solution

Some caps are covers (I) ⇒ conversion⇒  Some covers are caps (I) + No cap is a cup (E) ⇒ Some covers are not cups (O). Hence conclusion I does not follow.  Some caps are covers (I) +All covers are glasses (A) ⇒  Some caps are glasses (I) ⇒ conversion⇒ Some glasses are caps (I). Hence conclusion II follows.  Some caps are covers (I) ⇒ conversion⇒ Some covers are caps (I). Hence conclusion III follows.
