      Question

      Six persons D, E, F, G, H and I have different weights.

At least two persons are lighter than F. D is heavier than F but not the heaviest. G is lighter than D. G is heavier than E and I. E is not the lightest. Who is the heaviest person?
A F Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B G Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C H Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Cannot be determined Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      At least two persons are lighter than F. D is heavier than F but not the heaviest. ____  >  D > F > ____ >____  > ____ ….. (I) ____ > ____  >  D > F > ____ >____   …. (II) G is lighter than D. G is heavier than E and I.  E is not the lightest person. Case 2 will get discarded. H  >  D > F > G > E  > I ….. (I) ____ > ____  >  D > F > ____ >____   …. (II) Therefore, the arrangement we get is: H (heaviest) > D > F > G > E > I (lightest) Therefore, H is the heaviest person.
