    Study the following information carefully and answer the questions given below:   A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H are sitting around a circular table facing the centre. Each of them read the different newspapers The Hindu, The Tribune, The Pioneer, Hindustan Times, The Indian Express, The Economic Times, The Telegraph, and Deccan Herald but not necessarily in the same order. B sits second to the left of F. The one who read Deccan Herald is an immediate neighbour of F. Only three persons sit between the one who read Deccan herald and A. Only one person sits between the one who read Hindustan Times and A. The one who read The Tribune sits on the immediate right of the one who read Hindustan Times. H sits second to the right of F. D read Deccan Herald. C and E are immediate neighbours of each other. Neither C nor E read Hindustan Times. The one who read The Indian Express sits on the immediate left of B. The one who read The Economic Times sits second to the right of the one who read The Tribune. The one who read The Telegraph is an immediate neighbour of the one who read Hindustan Times. C sits second to the right of the one who read The Hindu.

    Solution

    Since B sits second to the left of F so fix one position for F. The one who read Deccan Herald is an immediate neighbor of F and D read Deccan Herald so here we have two possibilities D can either sit to the right or left of F and only three people sit between the one who read Deccan Herald and A.H sits second to the right of F. The arrangement will like as shown below: Case I: Case II: Only one person sits between the one who read Hindustan Times and A and neither C nor E read Hindustan times also  C and E are immediate neighbours of each other so the arrangements will look like as shown below: Case I: Case II: The one who read The Tribune sits on the immediate right of the one who read Hindustan Times. The one who read The Indian Express sits on the immediate left of B. The one who read The Economic Times sits second to the right of the one who read The Tribune. The one who read The Telegraph is an immediate neighbour of the one who read Hindustan Times. Case I: Case II: Since  C sits second to the right of the one who read The Hindu so the possibility of first case got cancel here. So we have only second case and C will sit on the immediate right of E then only it will be sitting on second to the right of the person who study The Hindu.
