Each one of them have different income i.e. 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 3500, 4000, 4500, 5000 (But not necessarily in the same order. Anika has income of 2500 and stays on an even numbered floor. Tom stays on any even-numbered floor below the floor on which Anika stays. The one who has income of 4500 stays on the fourth floor. Esha stays on the second floor and has income of 2000. The one who has income of 5000 stays on the third floor. Tom does not has income of 3500. There are two floors between the floors on which the people having income of 4000 and 2500 stay. Moni has an income of 1500. There are three floors between the floors on which Moni and Tanuj stay. Tina stays on floor immediately above Dhruv’s floor. There is one floor between the floors on which Rudra and Tanuj stay. Rudra does not has income of 5000. The one who has income of 1000 stays on the topmost floor. Rudra does not stay on the ground floor and Tina stays on the floor above Moni.Solution
\ Here * means that person did not stay on that floor. Anika can stay on 4, 6, 8 and Tom can stay on 4 or 6. As two people stay between the person having income of 4000 and 2500 and Anika is having income of 2500 so table will be
From the given data Moni cannot stay on floor 7 or 6 because it otherwise violate the relation between Moni and Tina so Tina will stay on ground floor and as three person stay between Moni and Tanuj and one person between Tanuj and Rudra so the table will be as follow
Tina stays immediately above Dhruv and Tom stays on even number floor below Anika and do not have 3500 as income and Sam will stay on the remaining floor so the table will be as follow
