From statement I, V lives two floors above U. Q lives three floors above T, who lives immediately above R. As many floors are below R as above S. We get: So, from statement I alone, we get either W or P lives on 7th floor. So, statement I alone is not sufficient to answer the question. From statement II, Only two persons live between W and U. P lives below U. W lives above sixth floor. P lives two floors above R. We get: Case 1:
