The total members in the whole family are: (i) The man himself = 1 (ii) The man’s wife = 1 (iii) His five sons = 5 (iv) His five son’s wives = 5 (v) Each son has 3 sons and 2 daughters = 5 x 5 = 25 Hence total number of members=1 + 1 + 5 + 5 + 25 = 37
