If a number is divisible by both 13 and 17, then it is divisible by L.C.M of 13 and 17 = 221500 ÷ 221 ~ 2.26So, smallest multiple of 221 between 500 and 3000 = 221 X 3 = 6633000 ÷ 221 ~ 13.57So, largest multiple of 221 between 500 and 3000 = 221 X 13 = 2873And so, number of multiples of 221 within the given range = (13 - 3) + 1 = 11
