D Either I or II alone is sufficient. Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

From Statement I, we can conclude that Gaurav's rank from the last is 47+1−18 = 30 From Statement II, we can conclude that total no. of students in the class is: 10+38−1 = 47 and thus we can know Gaurav's rank rom the last in a class of 47 students.
