    In the question below there are three statements followed by two conclusions I and II. You have to take the three given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the three statements disregarding commonly known facts .

    Statements: Some Craft are Drawing All

    Drawing are Sketching No Sketching is Painting Conclusions: I. Some Painting are Craft II. All Craft being Sketching is a possibility

    Solution

    Some Craft are Drawing (I) + All Drawing are Sketching (A) → Some Craft are Sketching (I) + No Sketching is Painting (E) → Some Craft are not Painting (O). Hence conclusion I does not follow. Some Craft are Drawing (I) + All Drawing are Sketching (A) → Some Craft are Sketching (I) → Probable conclusion → All Craft may be Sketching (A). Hence conclusion II follows.
