Question
In triangle ABC, ∠A - ∠B = 16 ° ,
whereas ∠A - ∠C = 8 ° , find ∠B.Solution
Since, ABC is a triangle,
So, ∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180 °  .......... (I)
Also, ∠A - ∠C = 8 °  .......... (II)
On subtracting equation (II) from equation (I), we have;
2∠A + ∠B = 188 °  .......... (III)
Also, ∠A - ∠B = 16 °  ........ (IV)
On adding equation (III) and (IV), we have;
3∠A = 204 °
Or, ∠A = 68 °
So, ∠B = 68 °  - 16 °  = 52 °
