      If cot2A = tan(A+6˚ )  , find the value of A? Given

that 2A and A+6˚  are acute angles.
A 16˚ Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 22˚ Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 28˚ Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 24˚ Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      Always remember that cot & tan are compliment to each other  So tan ɵ = cot( 90-ɵ) So it is given that cot2A = tan(A+6˚ ) Hence 2A + A+6˚  = 90˚ So 3A+6˚  = 90˚ or 3A = 90˚ -6˚  =84˚ or A = = 28˚
