    ‘P’ and ‘Q’ towards station ‘Q’ and ‘P’ respectively at the same time. When they met after 10 hours, train ‘B’ has travelled 102 km more than train ‘A’. Find the distance travelled by train ‘A’ in 6 hours if distance between both stations is 602 km.

    Let distance travelled by train ‘A’ at the time of meet = ‘x’ km So, distance travelled by train ‘B’ at the time of meet = ‘x + 102’ km According to question; x + x + 102 = 602 => 2x = 500 => x = 250 Distance travelled by train ‘A’ in 10 hours = 250 km Speed of train ‘A’ = 250/10 = 25 km/h Distance travelled by train ‘A’ in 6 hours = 25 × 6 = 150 km
