    Let distance travelled by train ‘A’ at the time of meet = ‘x’ km So, distance travelled by train ‘B’ at the time of meet = ‘x + 144’ km According to question; x + x + 144 = 408 => 2x = 264 => x = 132 Distance travelled by train ‘A’ in 11 hours = 132 km Speed of train ‘A’ = 132/11 = 12 km/h Distance travelled by train ‘A’ in 8 hours = 12 × 8 = 96 km
